All Driver's Seat Chairs are custom made-to-order. Delivery may take 4 - 6 weeks. Expedited shipping is not available for this product because of size, weight and production time.
Five Models
Choice of One-Piece or Two-Piece Configuration
Most models are offered with both a one-piece and two-piece seat configuration to suit different use requirements. The one-piece seat features a more traditional rocking motion, and the two-piece seat offers greater working position options. The two-piece seat design features five seat slide and three seat back tilt positions, plus fully adjustable rocking tension. The one-piece seat design features eight back tilt and two seat back tilt positions, plus fully adjustable rocking tension.
Lumbar Support System
The lumbar support system and and "Knee-Tilt" seat mechanism bring advanced ergonomic engineering to executive seat design. Fully adjustable both horizontally and vertically, it provides optimum comfort to any back. This unique system provides support for the pelvis, lumbar vertebrae and upper body to minimize fatigue and pain that can reduce efficiency.
Seat Cushioning
The eight-gauge sinuous spring unitized by insulated wire provides the ultimate in seating comfort. It's wrapped in ultra-high density HR grade high-resilient foam from pure virgin polyethers, free of foreign matter such as loading agents, that provides years of service without breakdown or tearout. Various foam load deflection characteristics are employed, depending upon the seat area, so comfort is maximized regardless of your position or movement.
Adjustable Headrest
The headrest tilts to provide a full range of positions, and includes a three-position height adjustment, to ensure maximum comfort with minimum fatigue. (Available on the Galaxy and Limited only.)
Leather Seat Covering
Available in 27 different colors, The Driver's Seat features features soft, supple Corinthian leather, famous for its rich leather aroma and superior durability. Aerated (perforated) leather is available as an option.
Frame and Base
Heavy-gauge tubular steel alloy is fabricated to meet and surpass the stringent stress specification set forth by Department of Transportation standards. The most modern tooling, equipment and techniques are employed to assure proper alignment and consistency. The five-leg star base provides maximum stability.
Seat Arms
Both arms raise for easy access. Optional task arms feature quick height and width adjustments.
